I was thinking about this as well. I guess you could potentially opt for a hatch to step through the wave break, or if you add a T Top that would give you a good hand hold to climb around. Everything is a compromise so I guess it's all about what suits the individual. I would be keen to hear what the Bonito team have to say.

Access to the bow is ultimately dependent on the configuration of the boat by the customer. Unfortunately everything on a boat is a compromise, in the case of the express we opted to keep as much internal space inside the cockpit. A hatch can be put on the bow, with a targa top fitted you would be able to go around the outside of the wave breaker, there is a non skid surface there, or if no targa/Bimini is fitted you can simply go over the top of the wave breaker using the dash as a step
