Zach i am running the Terrabite 32x10x14 . 8 ply. They seem ok but when I was down at Flat Nasty when I was going over the rocks it seem ok at times but the tires seem to be hard on the tread. I wanted to ask what you think about them? I am wanting to goto 35" as low geared the X3 XDS Max Turbo R is in L range it won't have no problem turning them over. It don't lag on power at all. Someone said I need to change the primary clutch springs. I like the look of the tires you showed on this video. I looked at it run the 32" when I am running gravel an pavement. An the 35" when I'm out rock climbing. To save on the wear being so soft. Do you know anyone running 35"s on can-am x3 an stock clutch?

Would you say the grip is on par with RockZilla’s? I’m really struggling with my tire choice, but knowing these are thicker side walls I’m leaning this way. My 10 ply XComps have been awesome for sidewall puncture resistance.
@SXSVideos3 жыл бұрын
Hey Chris! I'll be honest with ya, they aren't going to hook on wet rock like the Zillas. They still do great with proper psi and driving skill. Other than wet nasty rock, I prefer the Supergrips in every other terrain. They hook better, clean out great, last way longer, and dig better on all other terrain.

who should be contacted about warranty claims for punctured sidewalls on standard compound k9’s? planet sxs who i purchased from, or supergrip themselves? thanks

Do u think this tire in the standard compound would out perform the maxxis big horn in everyway??
@SXSVideos3 жыл бұрын
The Bighorn is a phenomenal tire. The Canine will wear a lot better. All other aspects the Canine XT in the standard compound will perform just as good as the Bighorn except for wet rock. The Canine has a harder compound than the Bighorn which a detriment when rock crawling. The Canine XT also has a really strong compound with an 8 ply sidewall compared to the Bighorns with a 6 ply. I have had great luck running the XT'S at low PSI. I've been running 5-7 lbs with my XT'S and have yet to have a flat. I put the tires to the test and beat on them pretty dang hard too.

@@SXSVideos thanks for the reply I really appreciate it I just bought a set of them in the standard compound non Kevlar for my xp turbo I live in wv and rarely see much slick rock but really hoping they out perform my stock big horns in the other conditions and are not overly heavy

@@SXSVideos 32x10x15 yes xt's
@SXSVideos3 жыл бұрын
That's the first I heard of that with the XT's. Were you rock crawling/bouncing? What PSI were you running? Every tire will have sidewall flats. Especially if you ride hard with low PSI. Low psi and hard riding with 32x15 is susceptible to pinch flats with any tire. I've put a sidewall puncture in every tire I have ran. (Which has been quite a few). I've also been around almost every popular tire brand as well with other riders and witnessed plenty of tire failures. I've had the 35" XT on 2 rides and beat the heck out of them. Both rides have been with 6.5 PSI without failure. I'm sure I will eventually but I have been fortunate up to this point.
@SXSVideos3 жыл бұрын
Myself and others had issues with the 32x10x14's but that was the old compound. That was the reason for the new sidewall design. I also ran the 35" nylon intermediates (non XT). I had 1 sidewall puncture with those over course of 6 or 7 rides. I was also running 5 lbs and going all out on a spot that was insane at Windrock.
@mikemartin10933 жыл бұрын
@@SXSVideos just normal riding not going all out running 8 psi put about 2000 miles on a set of pro armor in the same terrain with no problems the xt's lasted about 40 miles
