Old Jack Brennan was better. But, it sounded like he opted out to leave the show. So, he didn't want to be on the show anymore. Can't blame him for making that decision.

@@dennisgreene2544 we can’t blame FV for this one. It was Charles Masure’s choice to leave the role. Apparently, the stress of having to constantly memorize endless pages of dialog so quickly got to him. He had never done a soap opera before and wasn’t used to it.

@@BlessedlyMom77 yeah, that was 35 years ago. He played Joey as a teenager from 1990 to 1993. He was the third of seven actors to play that role. He was succeeded by Nathan Fillion, probably the most acclaimed actor of those who took on the character of Joey.

He looked good in the dark t shirt photo next to Charles mesure as brennan or photos where his hair is down curly in front. Please lose that piled up pompadour look in front cause the first thing my friends and l asked was wahats wrong with his hair. Charles mesure had a cool hairstyle . Will miss Charles but Chris is a great actor and did a good job.
