9:22 I think it'll be interesting to see how much the 2-piece case design affects the underglow for full PC builds vs the PC Envoy. I would imagine the two frosted surfaces contacting eachother cause the light to propogate less than a unibody design.

you can make a yin yang circle on the bottom maybe using a transparent black piece with a white transparent half on top also for future iteration you might be able to add a wider back with the option to mount a knob, either on the left or the right, or simply using this version here so you can still use it. maybe a knob on the left and and a mini display with the time or temps

Only 3 things I would change in this almost perfect board for it to be my dream board: 1. That we could see the bottom weight in a similar fashion as we can in the gorgeous Sonnet (I love that curve in copper!) 2. It was available in Europe 3. We could have it in a 65 XT format for some additional keys Keep doing what you're doing Mode, you're absolutely killing it!

I’m all for more 65’s but as an envoy owner it doesn’t make sense to buy another Mode 65 layout unless the mounting system was completely different (ie o-ring)

@@mattdemoraes You can also try removing the middle top mount plate screws, I often run my original sixtyfive with just the outer 4 plate screws in isolated top mount configuration and its very bouncy. Highly recommend!

It is a beautiful board but please do improve the QC on the lattice mounts because they were awful to work with on the Envoy.

Their just 3D printed TPU essentially and therefore will never be that great compared to an injection molded part. They can put fancy marketing names on it all they want but the company that makes them has all the info right on their website.

As an owner of the first Mode65, kinda sad you did not consider designing the board having reusable components for old owners. Like if I bought the bottom that comes with the lattice mount id be able to save a couple of dollars but I get it you're targeting new customers. However most people that are still within the hobby and stay past the post pandemic are still old timers.
