Introducing the New OTT ecoLog 1000

Set up is very easy for the tech team, but not so simple for the person that buys them.

Not to mention the OTT ecolog 1000 toolbox. What goes where? What is command file, what is configuration file etc. You can download it at OTT hydromet but good luck in understanding what goes where.

@@gretchendenton7719 problem was with toolbox manual and with fw 1.01. What was said in the manual did not corespond with the device itself. I should know, i tried everything, even as OTT kept saying it all work perfectly fine*. Then fw 1.07 released with that fix where changing intervals would not delete entire database stored inside the ecolog. And yes, ive lost couple months of data on few occassions due to it before. New fw changed config a bit better, where paths for which command file goes where - this is related to toolbox. Havent tested it yet fully. Eager to see how it works now. *Similar to CBS 452 series where device just stops working. New fw 1.22 kinda fixes the problem. On few sites i got errors of a/d converter and data bus being defective then errors just dissapears.I really hope that these patches go through some sort of beta tests before being released into public. Im literally scared to install stuff outside if they start popping errors which pop out few days later.

@@tomislavterek5544 I'm sorry to hear that you had a less than great experience with the ecoLog 1000. We currently have an initiative underway to improve our documentation. Have you tried using the LinkComm operating software? It is the most up to date operating software for communicating to the ecoLog 1000. I hope that you have a better experience with the ecoLog 1000 and its software the next time you use it. I believe there will be another release of the LinkComm software early next year.
