To jog the memory I told you that the early days of hak5 reminded me of a certain set of characters from the movie hackers. This is such a massive leap forward for the rubber ducky I'll definitely need to grab this as it's been on my mind ( having USB C and pro studio) so I'm happy to see these upgrades. I'm sorry to say but when you order it might take them a very long time to get your order or fulfill it. I suggest emailing them weekly as there is no informational emails about ETA's. I ordered on 8/19/21 and I am still waiting to this day. Hopefully when you order it will come in a reasonable timeframe. Wanna buy your stuff so bad, but after making my first HAK5 purchase (MarkVII Pineapple) and having it be just a brick from the first power-up, I'm passing. I couldn't get it fixed, I couldn't get a refund...just out $200.

I have managed to build two of these using Arduino Attiny85 and Raspberry Pico boards, converting them into bad USB devices and adding different payloads. The original Ducky became unavailable at Hak5, it is exciting to have a new version on the market again.

something i want from rubber ducky is wifi or bluetooth which could be something you could software disable or enable, basically I want it because it would be nice if there could be some way to copy and paste from one machine to another, like the application I want to make some day is you have a password manager on your phone, you connect to your rubber ducky, and then you click on the password field you want to fill out and from your phone you just select the password you want typed there, assuming you are able to implement a good encryption protocol it should be safe enough for everyday use, and it would allow me to actually use arbitrarily long or complicated passwords on machines that aren't mine, like at work.

Thank you for the video I’m a complete novice. I was trying to find a video that just simply explains what the rubber ducky does and they use case scenarios. Is old rubber ducky upgradable to support version 3.0?

No, DuckyScript 3.0 is only for the new USB Rubber Ducky. The old Ducky is great and has had a super long run -- 12 years of support! That's something to be proud of! You can still use the old ducky with the new Payload Studio to write DuckyScript Classic :)
