Hello, welcome to SobieTech. In this video, we will demonstrate the smart UST projector cabinet with Vividstrom ALR screen and Changhong V8S 4K UST laser projector.
The stylish design of the cabinet set allows the projector and screen hidden inside it while not in use. It offers a fully synchronized solution that allows the projector, the cabinet itself, and the screen to work together seamlessly. Advanced features including adaptive temperature control, fully adjustable motorized projector platform with an anti-pinch mechanism can also be found in this cabinet.

what settings are you running on yours? I find the contrast, colors and blacks to be horrible

@@jasonclough8892 I am not a major aficionado about the finer points of Settings for it so I couldn't tell you off the top of my head, sorry. I bought it because I move a lot and it is smaller and more maneuverable than a TV.

@@jasonclough8892 I have no complaints. To be honest though it is in a box right now but ONLY because I'm temporarily in an Apartment while my house is being built; and the apartment walls have a jagged texture which distorts the image (getting a screen didn't work based on the layout of my apt, lets just say). So I'm using an older 55" Samsung in my living room right now. I'll say this though, ignoring my circumstances I just described, once you go bigger image, all TVs seem tiny by comparison, I can't go back under normal circumstances. I love it otherwise, even if the colors aren't OLED perfect. Same goes for the LSP9T which I also got too.

Guys start building these things with the dead space in the back, not the front of the screen. The whole point of the motorized screen is I want to be able to deploy it and have it cover the items on the table like a television.

I think I see what you are saying. The main issue you might have there though is the projector drawer would need to go all the way to about 1.5' - 2' in front of the whole unit to reach throw distance. a drawer able to go that far out would be fairly large and extend a long ways into the room. I would think maybe a better solution would be a recessed mounted TV on the wall behind. It could potentially be very expensive though and labor intensive.

I know you all mentioned you can get the cabinet semi-customised it seems. I won't be using a self-rising screen, I'm going ot have a 100 or 120" mounted on the wall with my Vava Chroma. Can you remove the space in the back where the vividstorm is supposed to go?

Interested in this for my 120" floor rising projector in the USA. Does it come in a size that fits 120"? Also, will there be design options for color? I'd prefer an all white version.

Hi, the screen demonstrated is the 120" screen. There will be a few color options when the product is released, however, we do not know what exactly the available options will be. When the cabinet is released, we will make another video to confirm all the final details.

Hi, the original estimated release date this month is delayed, it will be available for pre-order in Jan/Feb and start to ship in March. The price for the cabinet itself is not confirmed yet. Is there any chance you'll be selling the electronics/actuators part without the furniture? I need custom-shaped furniture for my apartment (not strictly rectangular) and it would be great if I could buy the mechanism and install it into my custom-built furniture.

We've asked the manufacture, unfortunately, to supply the electronic parts is impossible as all parts need to be calibrated and assembled for the center cabinet. However, customized design is possible if you provide a drawing with clear measurements of what you want.

I would be interested in the 100' or 120' version including the Vividstorm screen, depends on measures...could you share cabinet L×W×H when open? Also measures on the central unit? Looking at adding a Xiaomi C2 or Fengmi T1. Cheers!

@@gaetanofaleo4587 Hi, for 120", the closed dimension is 320cm (L)*70cm(D)*43cm(H). For 100", the closed dimension is: 290*70*43cm. The final version for sale will have a slightly different dimension, we will confirm it when we had the information from the supplier.

@@SobieTech thanks for the prompt response! I guess I am trying to understand how tall the ceiling has to be in order to accomodate the screen full height + cabinet height when open 🤗 Also, how noisy are cabinet fans when on? Sorry for the multiple questions...just getting excited 😁

@@gaetanofaleo4587 Hi, different projectors can have different offset values which means the height of the screen's black border can be different slightly. Generally speaking, for 120" screen, the height from the floor to the top of the screen will be around 235-240cm. For 100", that will be around 205-215cm.

No, the weight of the cabinet plus the screen is over 100kg, it is way too heavy for any wall.

Hi David, the cabinet as demonstrated is a prototype, when the final version is released, it will be available for order in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Amerian. We've been told dealers will start to take orders for the cabinet in January 2022. When the final version is ready, we will try to make another demo video for it.

For €4.000 euro without screen I seriously doubt you are gonna sell any, while €4000 including a 100/120" screen would be a much more powerful price tag to make this a success story

Hi, we are just doing the intro and demo for the supplier. The pricing and orders are handled by the supplier themselves. As for the price, 4000EUR is high indeed, but the cost (design, parts, manufacturing, shipping, etc,) is high for those large pieces of furniture as well, probably, getting a DIY solution may be more suitable for most of us. Without the motorized projector platform, hidden mechanism, temperature control, etc, building your own cost should be under 1000EUR.
