I just installed one if these in my 100B along with the Hi-Fi add on speaker. Went well just seemed to be a very tight fit on the cabinet door and had trouble sliding it over with ease. But i got it. Sounds incredible and the Wi-Fi option puts it over the top!!!! Thank you for bringing us this product. Have a few things to set up like the phone app but its super cool!

I have a 1938 Wurlitzer and just had the tube amplifier restored. Would be nice to have one of these for a backup in the future.

These amps swap in very easily, you could switch between a solid state amp and you regular amp pretty easily. We are working on a 1015 to earlier wurlitzer amp with additional features, hoping to come out this year yet. I'm excited about being able to turn on my 1015 jukebox remotely and stream rock and roll all day.

Yes. The SSA1 supports the feild coil speaker in the m100c.

A properly restored tube amp usually sounds great. Unless it is missing or badly damaged, why would you want to de-value your antique machine by doing this. My M 100 C plays really well through external speakers, The large field coil speaker is it's real problem, not good with high frequencies. I have often thought about replacing it with a 15 inch coax with a horn driver, but have never thought the amp needed to go. How loud do you need it to go, a pair of 6L6 tubes has more than enough power to rock out in your man cave.

I would like to address both your points. First; our SSA amp does not devalue your machine. No permanent modifications required. Takes about 15 minutes to install. Save your old amp in the box and in any given 15 minute period you can return it to original use. No sign it was ever in there. When properly restored an original amp sounds good. Ours do provide better fidelity response. To properly restore the amp you must replace all the caps. Often also need to replace most tubes. Resistors. And sometimes tube sockets. Between finding someone skilled to perform these tasks the cost rises. This ssa allows these beautiful jukeboxes to remain in operation and in family’s. You most likely are one of those skilled people that can repair. But there are less of you taking in repair jobs every year. If you truly love the jukebox hobby you can easily see the value in these ssa amps keeping it alive and in a new generation of hobbiests.
