You can get a trans tune to where it will up shift while in manual mode(if it doesn't already have it). In sport manual mode it will bang the limiter if you wish. 14 v sedan owner here.

@@michaelscott9791 Yeah and Mechman is a nice unit. The funny thing is now fuel pumps and go fast goodies drw more than what a basic stereo does these days. The new class D amps are pretty efficient compared to the old A/B heaters from back in the day.

Class d amps are better in efficiency until they wire them down to .5 or lower. I personally prefer singer alternators over mechman. As long as someone doesn't run a Ebay or candy shop alternators they're all good units

I forget the exact numbers, but back in the day my old SoundStream 10.0's @ .5 where between 30-40% whereas a new class D amp would be 50-60%. Almost twice as efficient in turning power into sound at similar loads.

Start thinking about traction and tires Cooper! We had a supra 8 yrs ago and over 800hp it was difficult to put that power to the road. We had to un-tune it to about 800 to keep it safe on the road. Tires are better than in the past it may help but in our case (8yr ago) we had maximum tire width and had no traction at a certain point. And I am reallly jealous of that Wagon. It’s my fuckin dream car. When you’ll start getting bored of the look, search for pictures of widebody wagon, it’s something!

Very nice ride, Cooper. I've always liked wagons because they don't suffer the bad drag coefficient of SUVs but still have decent hauling capacity. That paint is wild. You know the Black Diamond moniker comes from when obsidian rock is finely crushed it looks just like black diamonds. ( It's the stuff put down for grip in tennis courts. I used to apply it. )

Would not want to be a painter and have a car with that kind of paint job come in to repair. Any time I meet somebody with a "tri or pearl" paint job, I tell them it looks good but hope you don't ever have to have it repaired or it's gonna eat a hole in your wallet.

37yeahbuddy Huss have to repaint the whole car, can’t really match flake and tri coats. It’s cheaper it repaint the whole car that try that. But I have a heavy flake in my Zs paint, It was red with heavy flake and it’s a drift car and sees damage so once the paint wasn’t the greatest I repaired all the fiberglass and repainted the entire car a new color. It only costs me 2500-4K to repaint the whole car though so not terrible. 4K is if I have my buddy paint it like i did the first time I paid him to do it and somewhat show me because he does old school muscle restorations paint jobs and custom flake, airbrush and he’s very experienced but it only takes roughly 8-10 hours in the booth to finish my Z.

Those 2jz bottom ends are super strong you could put over 1000hp and it will hold it. You got people running stock drivetrain diffs bottom ends and with a built top end and turbo kits and push over 1000 hp and it holds all day

320 amps is CRAZY I'm getting a high output alternator for my 04 Pathfinder and it puts out 180

You should look up some of the audio builds where mechman alternators are used. Some are nuts, highest I've seen was 5 of their elite series 370 amp alternators.
