I like how you got most of the necessities in so small a space. Consider putting the desk counter height where the futon is and the futon where the desk is. This will give more prep space for cooking. Just an idea. I enjoyed the video.

Wow, a compact mini house on wheels. The only thing I'd change is. Swap the couch with the front counter/desktop. Go for a fold down counter and put a TV in the corner. I think it would make for better use of the space. As well as a path to the bathroom and kitchen. When the counter is left up. It would make better use for more prep space.

Unfortunately many would never take care of the home plus they still have a problem of where to set it up. Many homelss people are on drugs alcohol both or the choose the homeless life they do not want to live a normal life in a home. I don't understand why someone would want to be homeless but at least 50% choose to be homeless ans do not want a home. I guess they like traveling from place to place and being cooped up in a home feels to confiding. I've met a few homeless vets who can't stand to be cooped up in a confined space so they live outside homeless so have tents but no home and do want one. It's crazy to most of us that there are people who choose this life the Vets are usually suffering from PTSD and aren't getting the help they need either they have refused the help or can't find the help. Drug addicts can't save a penny to pay for anything other then drugs and being high all the time they're not going to take care of a home not even a tiny home. If the give someone a tiny home they need to be vetted to make sure it's not going to be a waste od resources and time. There are some who would benefit from a tiny home like a mom with kids struggling to make ends meet. I think for most homeless the best thing to give them is a Bicycle with a Bicycle camper. This gets them out of the weather, a safe place to sleep and keeps their things safe and a way to carry their things with them where ever they go. Bike campers are cheap and easy to make light weight take up very little space and it give the homeless something of their own which can improve their mentality and selfworth. These little bike campers give them a place to sleep with a locking door can be powered with a small amount of solar a small cooking area can be built in a compartment on the outside of the camper and a outside solar shower compasting toilet can be used outside with a show road attachment with shower curtain for privacy. Not only does this give the homeless a place to sleep eat and shower they also get a bike for transportation which could be made into a E bike if the homeless wants to make it or if money and/or e bikes are donated everything can be charges by solar. Each city should designated composit dump sites and water fill ups and it would be nice if they have bike camper campgrounds for homelss with security guards to ensure people safety and the homeless are keeping the area clean. I think this would help the homeless more them anything else out there. It'd not a perfect system but it's much better then the way things are now and I haven't heard of a better idea. You cant just give all homeless an apartment or tiny homes there are a lot of problems with that but bike camper low cost small space easy to move so if it gets trashed by the homeless person it's not going to hurt others clean up is easy even throwing the whole bike camper away isn't a big deal these camper are very small enough room for one person to sleep, theres no ability to stand up in the camper and two ppl would be a very tight. It has a very little storage places for clothes but it's basically just a place safe to sleep at night or lay in when the weather is bad it's about 7 ft long 2 to 3 foot wide and about 3 foot tall so it's micro tiny. It's hard to explain it all but if interested look up bike campers factory bike camper is to much money but they can be built at a very low cost. So look up DIY Bike Campers many like very good like Mico tear drop campers a lot of different designs with different accessories and options. Sorry for the long comment but finding ways to help with the homeless is something I've been looking into for 5 yrs now and the bike camper it's the best solution I've come up with. Making a camper van or tiny house would not work for most homeless. A camper van could be putting a alcoholic or drug addict behind the wheel of a bigger vehicle. Also they would need a drivers license and insurance this just would not work. If the person you have a van to had no DL Insurance and drunk or high you could be held liable for a lawsuit. Tiny homes takes a truck to move. Anyways sorry for my very long comment just had a lot to say about this subject it's something I thought about a lot and I would like to help. I think bike campers would be a good starting point with help from the city in a place for setting up the camper like a bike camper camp ground that has rules to keep things clean and safe....

Very cute looking tote tiny house (actually more like a "space"). Like the kitchen window. Maybe couple inches taller for complete eye level views to the outside. And to add another sleeping option, have same size 7 ft eating board hinged to the bottom that can be flipped up for sleeping pad. Better yet, make it optional to only flip up a section of bottom board to make more counter space next to sink. Another suggestion, above kitchen window install a pull-down ,and out , mounting bracket for a smaller size flat screen TV. Perfect position to watch TV in front of the couch. All this could be upgrades, or standard. Really liked all your outside standard features 👌.

From 2018 until 2023 I was a Traveling Tech for Indian Motorcycles and lived in 16 foot camper and lived in State/Natural parks and absolutely loved it but there were times I wish I had gotten a 18 footer, there's no way I could do a 12 footer, that's just too small, atleast to live in more than a couple weeks much less permanently. I loved my time as a travelling tech and loved the simplicity of little small but 12 foot is too small. When living tiny you the most important thing is entertainment, and having spent most of a winter in Montana I'll tell you gotta have entertainment inside when the weathers crappy and you can't go outside. I had a 24" Roku Tv with a DVD player so when the weather was bad I would watch t.v. and when the internet was down I watched movies, there not much room in the 12 footer to put a tv.

Totally understand! Rv’s are meant for recreation and will quickly deteriorate as they are built extremely cheap. This one will last for decades and longer if maintained well

You might want to consider having the option of the flip-down stairs that many higher end RVs use that store inside the RV when the RV is not in use or is in travel mode. The downside is that they can get wet/snowy depending on the weather when deployed, and you want to dry them before flipping up into the inside stowage position.

I would put a kitchen on one end, bathroom on the other end. Then put a murphy bed in the middle, with a fold down table on the under side for daytime eating, game playing or puzzle working during inclement weather, bed can be put up during daytime and lowered for sleep at night,you have 6ft to play with, for door. You can also put in a tv mount on the back of the MB. Then have potable light weight recliners, I have some that are really comfortable and weigh practically nothing that come with stools that also practically weigh nothing that could be used for chairs for the table so 4 people could eat there very easily it would be perfect!!

A GREAT option for regular vehicles. I didn't see the place it connects to services... like at campgrounds. I saw the outdoor plug. I wondered about water. I don't have any experience with RV or Tiny camping. With a flush toilet you have to have a waste collection space, right?

Looks well made, thankyou for sharing. Being only 12 feet long, the layout looks backwards and kind of a inefficient use of what little space/ cubic ft. that you have to work with. Just my non expert opinion, but the bathroom should be in front where the trailer's tongue is. This way the rear of the trailer, which I think is taller/higher ceiling, could accommodate a lofted bed with storage and or a desk under it. Also, a $180 ac window unit would lower the overall price and should be enough to cool this small space. Not a critique, just my thoughts. Love the plywood walls for strength and ease of mounting anything on the walls. Seems priced a little high but so is everything else these days. Great walkthrough and breakdown of this tiny house. Please don't confuse my differences in opinion as complaints about what you've built. I think you're on to something that many people are in need of and interested in. Keep up the process and thanks again for sharing.

A fleet of these using maybe lower cost materials (drywall...) would be ideal for transitional housing to help get people off the street. There is nothing more demoralizing than sharing 5 toilets that are constantly broken between 50 people & having zero privacy. This is a very small space & can't be that much to build when you put it in a factory & start pumping them out at scale.

The water heater needs an enclosure to protect it from inclement weather, and your customers need to know that the water heating unit must be drained completely before the temperatures in their areas approach freezing. Learn from my mistake.

Just looking at that trailer frame... its just to big to pull.. and too small to live in for its size.. no practical to own.. the build seems great but the material use are costly.. in closing... over glorious miltary grade utility hut on wheels..

All incorrect and very cynical. Only weighs 4,000 pounds and we pull with a 15 year old Tundra with ease. 1 person could easily live in this as all of the basics are there. Not practical to own?
