I ordered the 935g plus from you guys on Wednesday. I wanted it for the past six months and finally ordered it. It was a choice between the 935 and the Q10. I was torn. then I really looked at the Q10 and was kinda blown away with the functions and abilities. Now I was really torn and lost sleep over it. So the next day I ordered the Q10 as well. All is well in the world again and I can’t wait for them to arrive this week. I think I made the right choice.

If this helps,,I have 2 935g pluses..Love them..Ordered a third...The Q10 does give u gps... BUTTT. Ill keep my 935g plus..

Love these radios. My only complaint is that I feel like the minute I buy one Wouxon is going to come out with a new better version just weeks later. So I end up never buying another one.

This model seems perfect for me (except the price). I know that a plus model is probably debuting soon but honestly I wouldn’t even be able to take advantage of all the features on this one!😵‍💫

For your consideration; the power cord for the charging cradle should be USB - C. That way it can be used either with the cradle or straight in to the radio.

I think the bigest issue with this radio is the fixed antenna. I understand there is the water rating etc but thats a pretty big deal to a lot of people.

Someone needs to figure out how to jailbreak this radio so it can transmit on all frequencies; for emergency purposes only.

I bought the KG-935G plus Deluxe Kit because the KG-Q10G dosen't have a Accessories Bundle which sucks because i wanted the KG-Q10G more

I'd like it if you could talk on a channel and the other will just pause scanning instead of stopping it. Having to restart scanning on the top channel band when you're talking on the bottom channel band is annoying. Since the bottom band channels are more limited, I like to talk GMRS on it and use the top so I can scan thru local P.F.E. and other frequencies.

I have this exact HT, but per the radio description, it said it can RX “Air Band”, but I believe this radio does NOT have this option. If this can receive AirBand, please help or is this false advertisement for this GMRS version?

The FCC requires that the CB functionality on the KG-Q10G be receive-only

It was just a matter of time before Wouxun started jacking up those prices. It’s GMRS only to begin with. $219 for GMRS? They need to make these radios to where you can unlock the frequencies. It’s ridiculous to have to buy two different radios

Almost all of your competitors have the ability to unlock frequencies. They don’t lose sales on their GMRS radios. They sale more then the people at wouxun could dream of. Baofeng, Tidradio and many others are still putting you guys to shame on sales, and for good reason. Sure your radios are high quality but, that’s not enough. The uv-5R still out sales all radios in the world combined. It’s a $20 radio people. You don’t understand your targeted audience. Sure, you are making money, but you could make alot more. Learn from your competitors. Make your radios unlockable. It’s not your fault if they unlock the radio and transmit on GMRS. Wake up! You will still sell all your precious GMRS radios, because unfortunately, there are still going to be people stupid enough to buy them.

Nobody makes money selling a $20 dollar Baofeng except amazon/alliExpress etc by selling 1000’s and making pennies on top of all their other junk.

Yes the price is a bit steep for a GMRS radio. Yes being able to unlock the radio would be nice. But if you have never owned anything but a Baofeng radio with a crap receiver then you sure don't understand radios. Yaesu, Icom, and now Wouxum have better filtering and a superheterodyne receiver. I have been in situations where people could hear me but I couldn't hear them with the crap receiver on a Baofeng HT. Fire up my Yaesu or my Wouxun HT radio with the good receiver I could now hear them. You will find in terrain challenged areas the Baofeng is a sub-par radio. But I am sorry there is no comparison of the Baofeng radios to a Wouxun , Yaesu or Icom HT. Baofeng is a cheap radi0 with a crappy receiver. I have owned Baoefeng and Betch radios. They work just not that well.

It's hard not to ASSUME THERE GUY with the way you went off on several rants! Maybe Wouxun could lower their prices some since they probably use the very same cheap Chinese labor that Baofeng uses. GMRS may end up being nothing more than a glorified form of the CB radio hobby. We've already had idiot problems in our area on GMRS similar to the disrespectful antics that happens on the CB. Many of the GMRS operators here are spending $150 to $300 for old commercial Motorola or Kenwood radios out of cop cars and other commercial applications. Some have even gone crazy and spent the money for some of the used but still very expensive and popular later model Motorola HT's. Then have the fun of finding and paying for the software and the learning curve to program the radios. GMRS has become somewhat of a racket. Buy crappy radios and get by or buy a decent radio and pay through the nose for it! Whether new or used Ham radios have become ridiculously over priced also! So what does a guy do? He buys a cheap Chinese Baofeng. I have Yaesu HF, VHF,UHF radios and two Btech/Baofeng HT radios. Cheers!!

No, the KG-Q10G cannot pick up police calls. Most police radios use digital radios, which can’t be accessed by the Q10G.

Darn i just bought the UV9GX , UV9PX, and the G Plus. 2-3 months ago. I have a CB President handheld radio. I'll have to pass. I will wait for updated version when we can transmit on CB band and listen to GMRS frequency. My cb radio doesn't have FM, only CB AM. So i will wait :-)

Hard to believe that after all this time the Garmin Rino’s are the only GMRS radios that can display road and topographical maps on the front screen of the radio.

I just ordered this. I was about to pull the trigger on a KG-UV9GX. Now it makes sense to me why it's on sale. :) Was taking some time to compare that and the BTECH GMRS-PRO. While not very useful yet because I don't think I know anyone else with either of these models, the GPS is compelling (plus I can still use it to get my location). The KG-Q10G seems to be a a beefed up UV9GX which covers most of the Rx frequencies that the UV9GX covers, which I find some value in, with GPS USB-C added.

Wish I had waited until this was released, I would have gotten this one over the KG-UV9GX. It has more of the features that I want in a handheld. I want to get a KG-1000G as well but, I'm awaiting the update of that to see if it gets better "mobile/base" features, like IP67 waterproof/dust proof, 50W and able to run off a battery pack in a bag, on a table, or in a vehicle and have ALL 30 channels capability. It would be nice if it was CB AM/FM and MURS transmit capable as well, if not out of the box, at least unlockable, with multi-stage power limited for each bands. Tri-band antenna tuned to be best for the main bands with at least 3/6dB gain included.
