this might be first so-so portable 3 cylinder 4-stroke engine out there. The weight is really impressive with all this tech.

Tohatsu.. With proper maintenance, and even a small amount of common sense, these boat engine's seem to last forever. Smooth INDEED..

Is Mercury going to get this model as well? I dont have a Tohatsu dealer close to me.
@wills.7626 Жыл бұрын
Trying to find a dealer in western Canada who has one. Bought a Yamaha F25C two years ago, great motor, but this one is the same weight!! Definitely getting one as soon as I can find one.

Hi @wills.7626 - we have a dealer locator on our website that might help you located a dealer near you: www.tohatsu.com/marine/na/dealersearch/index.html Also, feel free to call our corporate office at (469) 771-3740 - we might be able to help track one down for you.

What are the differences in the lower units between the C and D models? The new D model lower units look like they have a lot less meat on them than the older C model ones?
@tohatsuamerica5 ай бұрын
The D model has a totally redesigned lower unit, where they did manage to cut out quite a bit of the "bulk" and weight, while maintaining the durability.

Is there any likely hood to make a a 40d? That would put in sub 200lbs. That would be amazing
@tohatsuamerica Жыл бұрын
Hi Chris - Tohatsu's 40hp motor is a part of a different "family" than the 25/30. We are currently on the A model for the MFS40, weighing 209 lbs at the lightest version. So we're close!

Hello! What catalog name does the Tohatsu engine have, with a multi-tiller and electric engine start???! Tohatsu MFS30.....??? Please tell me.
@tohatsuamerica7 ай бұрын
For the MFS30D, with electrical start - you would be looking for the MFS30DETS or MFS30DETL (short "S" or long shaft "L") and then you would order the multi-function tiller handle separately.
@ВиталийПравдин-ц6м7 ай бұрын
@@tohatsuamerica Thank you very much for the answer! I ordered Tohatsu mfs30dets from Japan, with a multifunctional tiller.
