You can import designs on your local setup, you need an active Internet connection to push the design from Figma to Local Domain.

Hi, would this work in an already existing website, with its own images, text etc. that needs to stay, or will it overwrite the existing page? Looks like this is only to import into a clean new wordpress installation, correct?

UiChemy Version 2.0 introduces exciting new features. With the Live Import method, you can now export designs as Templates, Pages, or Nexter Builder pages, either as new or by replacing existing ones. Additionally, you can add layouts to an existing page or template.

No matter what I do I can’t get my Figma file to convert properly. The frame displays correctly in the UIchemy plugin in Figma. But the export is missing images and the layout is all wrong. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this.

having the same problem, in order to connect Wordpress with UIChemy in order to use the Live Preview feature from UIChemy in Figma, I need a .zip plugin to manually install the plugin in Wordpress, and this is not available anywhere. the file I download from UIChemy resources is an incompatible file.

As there was a bug with it: wordpress.org/support/topic/zip-files-created-in-macos-stopped-working-in-wordpress-6-4-3/ Alot of users are unable to upload zip file on WordPress. Would suggest you to roll back and try again? Thanks

This was super helpful and I did everything you did, but when I get it into Elementor, the page is broken and not all of it even shows. I'm currently trying to redesign a client's site, so part of my issue I think is that the WP site settings are interfering with my imported Figma design to the new page. Any suggestions?

I really want to like this. Not easy to use or set up at all. Feels like a hundred steps you must take and then after that it doesn't work. JSON file just uploads blank. Every time I try the live import it tells me invalid token. Hopefully they can fix these problems.

Hello @charlieboudreau5172, You need to optimize the design first, otherwise, the JSON file will come out blank. If you're seeing an 'Invalid Token' error, you'll need to copy the TOKEN from the WordPress UiChemy Plugin and update it in the Figma Plugin. This will resolve the Live Import issue. Also, just to clarify, the setup doesn't involve a hundred steps; it's done in just a few clicks using the UiChemy Onboard Guide.
