So they achieved feature parity with dji… what im REALLY waiting for is a gimbal with ACTUAL 3d tracking in wild shots that allows me to set the target to follow and focus on running around the subject (there are soo many creative uses for this), THAT would be a real upgrade!

Have you used ActiveTrack that you get on the RS2/3? You can track a subject as you move around and your AF keeps it all in focus, I believe as well you can loop in the RavenEye LiDar and that should open it up to manual lenses, not 100% on that though 😅

However its exactly the type of system id want if it worked really well. Maybe DJIs next gen will be there? Currently it only works in slow, very controlled and clear shots on short range, thats not what id be looking for. Need something reliable and fast …

Price point seems good. I've had problems with the zhiyun crane 3 base plate motor coming loose and making a lot of noise on 2 seperate units now. Whatever.... no response from tech support. Doesn't say anything about external battery pack like the crane 3 had. What's the weight that the 12 hours is tested at?

I'm waiting for someone to make a gimbal that can balance itself. I know it's coming but until that happens this seems to be the closest thing to it. If there is a gimbal out there that's easier to balance let me know.

Instead of spending months or even years waiting for the same thing, you can learn and get used to it in less than 10 seconds and save hundreds of dollars. Same thing happened with the Benro Theta tripod, I wouldn't spend on silly things like self-leveling even though I could shell out thousands of dollars for a physically good enough tripod.

Make sure you've manually balanced the gimbal before turning it on, and you'd better mount a lens support for the camera, at the same time, do to forget to set proper motor force for the gimbal according to the camera kit you used. Also, remember to tighten all the wrenches.

Ive encountered the dame problema at first, but it was only that the gimbal has excessive strenght, so you may want to use it in the weakest mode. That was the solution with a fx6, cine lens, 1 motor and transmitter

The LED and the wrist rest is just a bunch of gimmick to me. I’m still using my Crane 2, I might have to move over to DJI.

@@blackbugmedia we're using SONY FX30 and A7IV cameras with anamorphic lenses for professional music videos. The Weebill works perfectly for those and is very suitable for serious productions. We had the Crane 2 but the Weebill S is much better to work with.

Does it remember your mode setting after you turn off the gimbal and turn it back on? I shoot in Follow mode, and it always defaults to PF mode when I turn it on.

Это не болезнь а законы физики, такая же ситуация на любом стабилизаторе любого брэнда. Вы в режиме пан фолоу наклоняте в положение съёмки снизу, и потом при переходе в обычное положение прокручиваете ручку и стаб думает что нужно поставить в это положение

My crane 3 pro I paid $1500 usd.. wasn’t even strong enough to spin my Sony A73 as advertised. ZHIYUN support was horrible. Spent all that money on a defective product.no repairs or refund. Avoid this company.

Crane 2s был отличным кандидатом для покупки, единственная проблема он весит 1.95 кг., вот куда нужно было развивать инженерную мысль. Как проводящий со стабилизатором около 12 часов в день человек, могу сказать что вес очень важен для меня

Я бы добавил крепление на площадку pan. крепление для установки внешнего передатчика видео Второй момент фолоу фокус, честно говоря около сотни знакомых видеографов, и с Ронином и с Crane , могу вам точно сказать что никто из них этим фолоу фокусом не пользуется. Я понимаю что есть много пользователей которые работают с мануальными объективами, но их в десятки раз меньше чем тех кто работает с авто фокусировкой. Правильнее было бы сделать отдельный модуль фолоуфокус который продаётся отдельно от стаба, за счёт этого сделать ниже цену базовой комплектации

Если вы хотите что то новое и чтобы конечный потребитель захотел купить ваш продукт, скажем так весомый аргумент, в пользу вашей продукции, то я могу дать мой совет, моё субъективное мнение. Вам необходимо сделать передатчик видео в стабилизаторе через hdmi или sdi, и сделать обычный приёмник, приёмник без монитора, и всяких непонятных вещей, чтобы можно было использовать стабилизатор для трансляции, вместо грамоздких hollyland Mars.

Ещё есть мысль на счёт создания готовых шаблонов съёмки. То есть сделать точки А и В. Точка A начального положения стабилизатора и точка с заданной траекторией и конечной B. Где можно выбирать время прохождения этих точек, что позволит за счёт этого регулировать и скорость.
