Had 1 of those since '70. It has the 3-2 bbl Eldorado motor, air suspension & gold kit. Pretty rough now but whoever ordered it spend some $. Originally came from Denver.

That’s the ticket! Thankfully mine doesn’t have the air suspension as I think where I am located, I couldn’t personally get it up and running. That and it would be super costly to send it to CPR.

Got one too. They are just amazing...may as well be from outer space, they are so far out of people's everyday experience. Always really liked the black and silver interior like on yours...beautiful, slightly Goth, and maybe a little menacing. The top of the GM heap (except for the Brougham) for 1958, a truly unique year for the brand

Absolutely. Just like my CT6-V it was cut out way too early, and no one hardly knows about it and parts for it are pretty scarce. Had to custom fabricate a few things unfortunately for the engine.

The car looks pretty decent in terms of the exterior, with the exception of a few things of course. And I love the way the doors sound when they close.

The value of those cars are in their survivor status. If it were mine I would not repaint. Sherry is a beaut !!!! Don’t molest her 🎩. I own a 69 DeVille convertible also a survivor

Oh I understand, however though the rust is quite bad at the rear B pillar and the trunk is taking in water. So unfortunately in order to save her from further damage, we will need to do some proper surgery and housecleaning on the paint as well. All in all, I don’t plan on taking her to proper Cadillac competitions for originality (as I didn’t want to buy her as a show car, but merely something to catch the eye of others and make me happy) as that has already went out the windows sad to say. However I want to give her the best chance of surviving for many decades more to come with some of the advancements we have had with paint, PPFs and ceramic coatings to keep her better than OEM on her body health and appearance.

Very funny. You do know it's going to be $20K to paint your car properly, right? Chrome will be the same. Interior, will be $15K to do right. Engine and trans rebuild another $15K. I think you see where I'm going... I've also got a '64 60 Special and a '70 Eldo. Plus 9 other classics, of other makes. I have a little experience here.

@@anthonybianchini5144 Yeah, I can kind of see that the way you are wording it you think I know absolutely nothing, and have no idea for the costs. (And by extension probably cant afford it) But ill take a shot in the dark at a guess that the other reason why you are trying to pricescare me is because you might be interested in purchasing it to add to the rest of your collection? Pro tip: Usually people dont have to tell others they have experience to validate it. :)
