Hello, please i wanted to start a new model by learning using the QUICK START QUIDE. but it says i should click on 'background layers' and then select 'Lesson1.dxf. But i cant find any file there. it is empty. can you please help me. thank you

Hello, the "Lesson1.dxf" file should be found in the "Lessons" subfolder within the WaterCAD or WaterGEMS installation folder. By default that would currently be located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\WaterGEMS\Lessons

Hello, Thanks for this useful presentation, I would like to understand waterCad how will deal with such hydraulics scenarios, such as fire different events / irrigation schedule event( irrigate some control valves in first hour, then irrigate other valves and etc. So in both above examples we have zero flow nodes at each event so how the pressure will be affected at each node in each event. Furthermore what is the best option ( forgot fire flow which is the best for fire events definitely) steady state for each irrigation events or EPS with step time intervals ?? Regards

If I understand you well, the software analyzes variants with only one hydrant is working. Is there a possibility to analyze various of combinations where two hydrants works together at the same time?

Hello Hugo, if you are associated with a University, you can ask your professor or IT/Helpdesk if you have a Bentley Educational license subscription and they will be able to help you download and license it.
