Nowadays, students at schools around the world are as competitive as ever and if you think that they're becoming increasingly "terrified" of maths, then you're absolutely wrong.

I had to no idea why I was doing anything I just followed the rules. I managed to scrape through derivatives but integration did not well so I took the full course again the next year. This time the prof was like Eddie Woo. She explained everything in terms of physics and the "why" of each exercise. The second time I got an A in the course and I really loved it. Thank you SO much, Professor Woo. Thank you for teaching the history and the theory and putting it into language we can understand and relate to. We need more teachers like you, I never understood Calculus or even the point of it, despite taking it in high school. My teachers never impressed uppn me the beauty, simplicity, and imagination of the concept like you just dod.

This is how math teachers SHOULD be. I've been watching many of your videos. They're splendid! Never have I learnt so much in such a short time as on this channel.

I'm starting to learn caulculus on my own, it's been roughly 2 years since I've studied anything formally, and I want to approach this as a way of distraction that isn't videogames and the hub, and also to learn something different that isn't songs on the guitar... Wish me luck!

Ty you for teaching this sir. I love that you make sure we actually understand the concept instead of just telling us how to do things. I got a 100 on my first calculus test and I owe a lot to you. Thank you sir.

Your enthusiasm is fantastic. I'm taking some calc at college right now & most professors dont have any enthusiasm, they just wanna go home. I know a lot of stuff is boring & its a job for them, I dont expect them to come to work everyday happy as fuck to teach calculus but damn at least get engaged once in a while jeez, we dont always have to hate life everyday. I'm not absolutely in love with math but it does have very interesting stuff going on with it & I find that when you can make it fun & interesting, your performance tends to go up gee weird how that happens huh.
