I have a question, what will be your recommendation if your company already have a global HSE plan and will be working as a Contractor and designer for a project, what should be done to know if the HSE plan are in compliance with the CDM 2015 requirements? Thank you in advance for your response!

The CDM regulations would require you to have a construction phase plan, HS file, etc that are specific to the construction project so you wouldn't be able to just use your company wide management system if that's what you mean?

Question. As a client, do we need to do a CMP if the PC has completed one for the works?

Hi, Typically, the principal contractor would do it, and the client should be included in the process for sure, but I don't see the benefit of having two of the same documents. However, the client does need to make sure there is one a CMP or a CPP

Hi, Is this applicable for a renovation where no construction is carried out?

I haven't come across a renovation that doesn't invovle construction lol. But basically if there is more that one contractor invovled CDM applies.

@@RebrandingSafety I'm refurbishing a 2 bedroom house to become a 3 bedroom by turning the upstairs bathroom into the 3rd bedroom and making an area downstairs a bathroom, then just updating and modernising the property. How much is CDM?

Are you or the contractor the sole contractor? If so then CDM does not technically apply however we would advise.following the principles as you still hae legal duties to ensure a safe job. Support complying with CDM varies in cost as it should be proportionate to the risk and compexity of the job
