Chillance Zen OVS with flow entries just does what a controller tells it to do with multicast....or by default in "normal" mode floods multicast.

Great Job David! By far the this clearest and most complete day in the life of a packet for VXLAN. I needed just a few of the point but it was great to get the complete framing of the answer I was looking for complete with a drill down into the encapsulation of the pack with Wireshark showing the very same example complete with the VXLAN decoding. Awesome, really! Your model of how to demo network complexity of illustrate should be taken as a standard!
