Introduction to Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Pages

This is cool and all, but I can't use workers with backend npm libraries such a sendgrid etc. Anyone know why this doesn't work or if I may be doing something wrong?

Thanks for the video, can we mix workers with cloudflare pages?? I'm a bit confused as to what the two entities serve. are they mutually exclusive or complementary??

They are complementary! :) So if you have a static deployed with Pages and want to add some dynamic functionality, you can absolutely leverage Workers. Prior to Pages, you had to use workers for both.
