Introduction to Countertenor

I am a countertenor 5 octave range, I am happy to see a man doing female mimicry, as I felt groing up I am now 28, that my self practice was embarrising. I have no idea what to do with my rare voice, honestly, where I am, who I've been, all my talents are hidden behind a Fine Arts degree. Basically another swept under the carpet artist.

prob find a teacher who's also a countertenor, or a female teacher.

I am a lyric baritone and I can sing countertenor too: I found that when I laugh hysterically, I use a completely different and higher voice and I learnt to go in and out of that at will. I actually have better vocal control in countertenor than I do elsewhere. I used to be able to go into an even higher octave, like a baby bird, by contracting the air flow in my voice box even more, but I think I did it too much pretending to be a seagull and it wore off. I haven't found the ability to do that since. When I sing countertenor, it is like having a completely different voice.

...as for now, I can only hit my highest pitch in modal voice: 6th octave (G6)... I can hit my highest whistle register (under developed whistle voice): F#7...🥺🥺🥺

Not all countertenors are falsettsts. For example, Russell Oberlin.
