Esther Pradeeba is a professor in the Music Department of the University. Her specialty is on the history of Tamil Dances.
முதல் மூன்று அத்தியாயங்களில் எஸ்தர் சங்க காலத்தின் கூத்து நடன வரலாற்ரை வழங்கினார். 4வது அத்தியாயத்தில் பல்லவர் காலத்து (300-900 CE) நடனத்தை விளக்கினார். பெரிய கோவில்கள் கட்டப்பட்ட காலம் இது. 5வது அத்தியாயத்தில் (800 CE-1300 CE) சோழ மன்னர்கள் நடனம், இசை மற்றும் பிற கலைகளுக்கு அளித்த பெரும் ஆதரைவை அவர் வழங்கினார். சோழர் காலத்தில் பெரிய கோவில்கள் கட்டப்பட்டன. இன்று 6வது அத்தியாயத்தில் பாண்டவ மன்னர்களால் ஆளப்பட்ட மிக நீண்ட காலத்தை (BCE 300- CE 1400) விவரிக்கிறார். இந்த காலகட்டத்தில் அவர்கள் மூன்று சங்கங்கைள உருவாக்கினர். மற்றும் தமிழர்களின் நடனம், இசை மற்றும் பல கலாச்சாரச் சொத்துக்கைள வளர்த்தனர்.
In the first three episodes Esther presented the history of Koothu dance during Sangam Period. In the 4th episode she explained the dance during Pallava Period (300-900 CE). This is the period when great temples were built. In the 5th episode she presented the great support given to dance, music and other arts by Chola kings during (800 CE-1300 CE). Great temples were built during Chola period. Today in the 6th episode she covers the longest period (300 BCE- 1400 CE) governed by Pandava kings. During this period they formed the Three Sangams and nurtured dance, music and other cultural assets of Tamils.
