Introduction to FactoryTalk View Site Edition Data Grid object

Thank you for the video. How often is the data refreshed from the database? I set up a test data grid, pulled up the webpage (viewpoint) and the records did not seem to refresh when I changed the data. I had to refresh the browser to see my changes. Is there a setting specific to datagrid refresh within Viewpoint? Thanks.

In FactoryTalk View SE client there are two ways to refresh the Data Grid object: 1. Manually, using the refresh button on the grid object itself 2. Using RefreshData method in VBA Since VBA is not supported in ViewPoint, the data in the browser can be refreshed only manually: - Using the data grid object refresh button or - By refreshing the browser

Really cool and underrated feature. However I hope Rockwell if the future move away from Rational Databases, IMHO most of the applications can be log in Time Series databases which are more optimized and lightweight than rational databases like MS SQL
