Sorry, I know this is an old comment. You are more or less staking money and betting that the index will either rise (long) or fall (short). The cool thing about futures is that you can say "I'm entering a short position at 2 dollars, and my stop loss is at 2.10. My take profit is at 1.75" this means that you can risk "some" money to gain "much" money in simple terms. Yes, you can still lose money, but it is much less a guessing game than say, arbitrage. You really don't need to memorize candle stick patterns or indicators and all that junk. It's as simple as gaining money based on your position, or losing it.

I would say for Futures videos, maybe go into what makes certain brokers better. Also my main confusion is the contracts since they expire every 3 months I believe, 1. how do you memorize the month and expiration symbols for like ES or MES and 2. how do you know which one to trade off of since they are consistently expiring and the volume shifts to another date.

I think it is bro, but instead it’s longer term contracts. Not day trading options. For example you’ll buy a 3 weeks to a month out instead of buying the weekly. But something like this takes up a lot of research. Like right now Tesla is dropping like crazy so most like people are buying futures (options set further out)for Tesla.
