This is amazing. I’m a physician who has been playing for a year. My goal is to play for my patients. ❤️

Hi Edie! Im a beginning harpist and would love to learn harp therapy. How much experience do I need to start a therapy course? Also, what kind of lap harp do you have? Ive never heard one sound that good! Usually the lower notes don't sound great. I was sure you were playing a floor harp until I saw you pull it off! Thank you and bless you!

Thanks for it. Living with no sight, and I like the sound of the harp so much. Is it possible playing the harp with no light perception? Cause I’d like to play it. Thanks for your answer.

Yes, very much so. One of the best harpers known to Ireland started to play after he was blinded by smallpox at the age of 18. His name is Turlough O'Carolan. You probably have heard some of his music already. You can play by ear as said in this video, you can also learn to play by ear. There are quite a few teachers who teach this way as well. Go for it. It is possible for sure.
