It seems like you might be feeling hesitant when discussing the concepts of masculine and feminine duality. It's important to convey these ideas with confidence. Remember, masculine and feminine energies are not inherently tied to gender; they transcend binary definitions. Don't let contemporary debates on gender identity undermine your authority. Embrace the complexity of these energies with assurance in your teaching. Consider incorporating Carl Jung's concepts of the anima and animus, which suggest that each individual, regardless of their gender, harbors both masculine and feminine qualities. By understanding these archetypes, we recognize that masculinity and femininity are not confined to gender but are universal energies within us all.

15:15 reminds me of Jean Paul Sartre, who stated we are our perception meeting the universe. (Thinking of a flashlight lighting up a dark room, we would be the beam.)

Thank you for everything you share, I love learning how others read energy especially in such a nonjudgmental way. I see mysticism as one's own personal journey to cosmic expansion, individually bridging the finite with the infinite. We each have our own flow state that aligns with the larger flow. Above/below. Macro/micro. You have a wonderful way of nonchalantly sharing loads of knowledge. I'm looking forward to diving deeper at my own pace. It'll never be done as it's a continuation of awareness. Again, thanks 🌼

Hey Melody! I love your definition of mysticism. Beautifully said! The flow state is where it's at! I used to do "flow arts" which taught me a lot of things. Happy we are connected. Enjoy the ride!

Wow! This stuff is mind-blowing! I have to say that you are an amazing soul for sharing this with us, and taking the time to educate us on this topic. I just started Tarot a year ago, and it has taken me on this journey of just wanting to know more and more. I am so happy to have come across your video, and I aspire to be like you once I continue to develop and grow!!! I love your energy, the simplicity in which you explain things, your courage, and wisdom. Thank you! I will continue to watch all your videos, and I hope I can become as well "seasoned" as you are one day! Also I am wondering if there is a book or website that has helped you on this journey? Thank you! ❤️

Joe can you please recommend any books that would be helpful on Qabbalah?

Definitely. My favorite is Lon Milo Duquette's Chicken Qabalah. I have a book coming out in January too. Also Tarot and the Tree of Life by Isabell Kliegman.

I discovered the Qabalah in the strangest way, when the number pattern '22:22' kept following me around. Obviously the 22 major arcana came into my head but the rest of the pattern was really bugging me. Then I discovered the 22 (+5) letters of the Hebrew alphabet, and subsequently their attributions to paths on a mysterious glyph called the Tree of Life! This led to me reading a Damien Echol's tome - and now it's a constant sense of revelation. So typical for those of us who tend to be in the sphere of 'Hod' - meditations on Chokmah (the 2's) helps me so much with internal balance.

Hey, I was just searching up videos on this topic! This is kind of off topic, but I wanted to say a quick note, as I had this spark of realization. I don't know if you already thought of this, as I haven't watched all of your recent content, but here's the idea: Thoth Knights are often compared to both RWS Kings and RWS Knights. I believe that both comparisons are valid, as the Thoth Knight/RWS King is the father figure, the one that helps create the suit it has dominion over. But Thoth Knight/RWS Knight is the one that is the active part of the element, taking its ideas and going balls to the walls with it. I think because Waite wanted to make a deck that was palpable to the public, I think he decided that it would be easiest to understand that children are the ones that are wild with big energy, while fathers (Kings, as in this system) are the ones with focused intelligence. So they've just been swapped around for this purpose. Both systems make sense for what they're trying to accomplish, especially since Thoth is much more explicit about sexual pleasure and debauchery, while RWS is definitely more "family-friendly" and keeping with Christian purity. I am still in the beginning stages of learning both systems as opposed to just one, and I'm beginning to see why learning tarot isn't so cut and dry-it has a lot of subjective meaning. I plan on watching more of your content, so thank you for posting!

I read a lot on the website, and read the pdf also. I just dont get if there is a whole course that includes them all above or you choose only one and take them separately? I am confused because there is a 2-years academy and then these courses? Ahhhhh... I am lost😂 again😮
@JoeMonteleone

My apologies for the confusion. The first year is the Master Curriculum which contains over 1 year of training through over 10 different courses and programs. These include hundreds of self-paced lecture videos, weekly live classes, bi-weekly training sessions, live virtual events, a student center, communal support, and more. The second year includes a Professional Readers Mastermind for eligible students looking to read professionally. This includes a year of monthly support meetings with Joe, private coaching from Joe, promotions and collaborations with the Tarot Mysticism Academy, and endorsement, all to help tarot readers jumpstart their businesses.

Honestly. If you posted a type of video where you just said one phrase every minute or so. Like a meditation thing. I would eat that shit up. 😏 great for adding watch hours. I absolutely love the way you guide spirtual exploration. However (personal problem) Im constantly rewinding cause Im thoroughly exhausting my train of thought with each powerful statement you make. So if you so desire.😬💕 id love that✌️ No I cant go elsewhere, its your energy thats inspiring😅💙💛 such joy

Why would you use distance as a measure of the mind, when it is formless? One can certainly distinguish aspects of mind from other aspects of mind...
@JoeMonteleone
@JoeMonteleone 4 ай бұрын
The trick is, the mind is not formless if you can discuss it. It has semantic form. Consciousness is formless, which experiences the mind as a very very very subtle form.

Is it correct to say that all these things are imagined things? But the end is not imagined (maybe this equals the crown?). All images disappear. Only a bright sun remains. The lesson is that what appears normal to you, is also just an imagined thing and made-up by the mind. (This includes your vision of the world, the sensation you feel when you sit down, the things you hear, ... everything except the internal sun.)
@JoeMonteleone
@JoeMonteleone Жыл бұрын
I would say that is correct from the perspective above. Many sages (like Nagarjuna) do say that the relative reality is still important though, so there is a fun balance. For me, something like advaita vedanta/non duality is like an exposition on Keter, where it all fades :)

@@JoeMonteleone I'm unfamiliar with the terminology, but I suspect it is the internal sun you experience as a final 'image', when everything falls away? To me, subjectively?, it seems time seems to pass outside of it... so yeah, if you want a life, you should stay there too long.

I'm really enjoying the content. I just suggest you do not try to use 'assigned male at birth' as you edited in at 10:33 ...Sex is not assigned at birth, it is merely recorded. Sex is real and immutable regardless of how anybody feels or identifies.
