I know you know EXACTLY what you are talking about because you have also -almost- mastered (perfection is never achievable) American English Intonation! Very well done! Extremely comfortable to listen to you, coming from a Dutch person who studied English. Arigatoo!!

I've always had some sort of gut feeling about the intonation rules, but after I learned from you those easily to remember rules, they make much more sense. Thank you!

Thanks for the amazing video! I appreciate how you explain things in a methodological manner, which makes it clear for me to follow. The 4 rules you mention are great to start with, but I often hear excerpts that don't exactly follow these 4 rules. Do you have plans to cover more advanced rules?

What would happen if ex. 今日は花を食べた。there are so many ups and downs in pitch accent here, so I wonder what the intonation would look like? Also after a pause ex. 「○○食べて、」can the pitch rise again because the sentence was paused?

in many pitch accent videos that i have seen the pitch comes back up. but rule 4 confirms "once the pitch drops, it never goes back up again" thank you

Are these rules applied to a very long sentence or only applied to a group of words?

As I said in this video, I’m talking about basic rules here. I’ll make a couple of videos about intonation rules of long sentences.
