Hi Crystal! I tried these after your first video doing this and love it! I did one of my old yetis too (just to see if it would work on those and it did) and now the kids are like, oh mom can you…. I found where I live that if it’s warm/hot outside if I set the cup in my garage and wait about 45 minutes it comes off pretty easy. I also noticed if after I rub it off and take the vinyl off if there is still some around the edges, taking a dry paper towel after I dry it and rub it around the design it helps get the little edges off!

I have had my cricut maker since Christmas and haven't done many projects because I don't have the funds to invest in the good stuff. Ultimately I want to sell my work. I feel like this is something achievable! Thank you so much for sharing this!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Going to try this method this week, can't find Citristrip but I have something similar. That Sassy LIttle Soul is so my granddaughter, will be making that for her! Would love to see another video showing if that tumbler worked sitting over night.

Hey Beverly! We definitely recommend the rubberized tumblers compared to the powder coated and we will keep you posted on the other tumbler!

This video put the "?" in the title, "Introduction to Laser Engraving Tumblers…with a CRICUT?!" If you are confused, skip to the 14 minute mark to see the science! This artist selected ND Yag as the medium of choice to amplify light energy by stimulating emissions of radiation. I will be blunt and honest, the thought of the artist stimulating my energy in the same fashion as the photons did enter my mind as she applied the citrus. (How I wish I could have smelled that Sunkist goodness!) In my evening meditation, a vision again invaded my quest for reaching the absolute, this time leading to a night-time, or nocturnal emission of my stimulated radiations. I'd put this method up there with quantam entanglement for amazing discoveries made in the last fortnight. A+

I saw the wine glass. Can we also engrave glass wit the citristrip?
@DesignBundles2 жыл бұрын
Hi Arlene! No, the citristrip just removes the extra coating. You would need an etching cream to create that effect.

Hi I love these but I am having problems finding citristrip and I live in the Uk. Could it be called something else. Thanks amazing job too x

Hi Julie! You would want to look for a "paint and varnish stripping gel".

You keep saying it will come off the rest of the way in the dishwasher but these cups don’t usually go in the dishwasher?
@DesignBundles Жыл бұрын
Hi Andrea! You can put these types of tumblers on the top rack of the dishwasher but we always recommend hand washing anyways! - Dawn

Once the coating is removed, it's just bare metal. Do you need to seal?? No concern with rust??
@DesignBundles2 жыл бұрын
Hi there! We haven't sealed the metal and haven't had an issue with rusting.

Can I use a coated yeti tumbler/cup?

Yes, you can use the powder coated or the rubberized tumbler.

Has anyone tried using a stiff tooth brush to clean it up?
@DesignBundles2 жыл бұрын
Hey Mandy! That is a good idea! I've only used a sponge but I don't see why the stiff toothbrush wouldn't work! Let us know if you give it a try!
