aim for M contracts like the 737 and a320 not the embraers, then L planes

Just reach the level for the regional star and international star and claim it!

Yup, the planes without an airport tag in the various airport progress rewards can be used anywhere. These will also not have an airport tag in the fleet menu.

I think every premium pass is worth it, including IAD. You get most of the value back just from bonus Handling Crew!

You do use both runways. One is for arrivals and the other is for departures.
