Finally a Nuke 3D camera tracker tutorial that makes sense to this AE artist. I think Nuke creates this mess of nodes when you create a scene and that always threw me.

Please make more tutorials on Nuke, it's kinda less nuke tutorials available in KZbin. Some of which are not explained in detail. I found this video very useful. Hoping for more from nuke series.

I recommend 3dequalizer to you for precise tracking, its really good for manual tracking in such shots where in you cant see anything in plate.

just to be noticed. You keep sensor sizr on 36 / 24. It is better to respect the frame aspect ratio. 36/24 = 1.5 , HD1080 = 1.77. Just change your sensor size for 19.2 / 10.8 and the problem will be solved and avoir some aberration for the camera size.

Hi please help, the "Import Tracker" button simply does not work it freezes my Nuke every time.

loved the tutorial but can't see the nodes very well due to lack of sharpness

using nukex 14.0 when I export a Scene+ it creates a 'GeoScene' instead of a 'Scene'? Is there a difference. And, when I try to create a 'Card' from the tracker point it creates a 'GeoCard' which doesn't have the same attributes as a 'Card'. Can someone clarify? Thanks!

Nuke 14 introduced a brand-new 3D system for Nuke. GeoScene and GeoCard are the new 3D system's replacements for the old Scene and Card nodes. If you uncheck "New 3D [BETA]" when exporting, it will export the classic Scene and Card nodes instead. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to our support team at [e-mail]!
