Absolutely Outstanding Introduction Thank You! I learned more in this video than the last 20 videos I have watched on tying married wings!!

Very helpful. Perhaps the best explanations of this I’ve encountered. 🙏👍

I've been tying, off and on, for over 35 years and marrying wings has always eluded me with nothing but frustration and sub-standard results. Over those years I read countless books and practiced countless instructions but this is the first time I can ever remember anyone talk about the left-left, right-right, compound vs non-compound curves in wings - and how to properly pair those for marrying. So, I went straight to the bench and tried it. (I also learned something about wings in the process!) And bingo . . . it worked perfectly and married the wings as though they were one. Who knew? And how was this never mentioned before in over 30 years of tying?

One of the reasons I'm doing these videos is the frustration I have encountered over the years with instruction that lacked enough detail. I'm so glad this helped!

Are you assembling the wings with goose shoulders or goose wing?

I find a bit of spit, true no but seriously steam will help to "bend" then .but you have to mach like for like or it will not work. As in you find the "hooks" on a feather connect together. If they don't you have done something wrong. Maybe the wrong side of the wing. Try again

There are tiers known the world over who employ copious amounts of spit as part of their assembly. They shall remain nameless.
