I think a degree in Ops research aka decision sciences or management science methods will be extremely helpful, in progressing towards a career which requires enhanced knowledge of productions engineering and operations management. I would not agree to have REM - Reliability engineering methodology, TQM and Inventory management (Ideally should fall under supply chain's domain if such a department exists) under the supervision of Operations Manager (who may or may not be an Industrial or Mechanical or a Process Engineering Graduate Degree Holder). Normally manufacturing firms do have separate Productions engineering, plant maintenance / RCM and Supply Chain and Total Quality Management Units

Prof. Harvey Millar, Supply chain Management & operation management playlist in your youtube channel, both the playlist are arranged randomly, it has repetition of video and non related videos added to the playlist, its getting extremely difficult o understand in what order one should play it. can you rearrange both the playlist in the way that the flow of lecture is not disturbed or specify in which order one should play to get clear idea on both the topics. pls do it as soon as possible
