Blue Road Home Productions This sparked me to go back to earlier stuff and give them an aural ‘face lift’ as well. I’ve had K10 and Logic for over 2 years and never really touched anything past Polyplex, Battery, Monark and Alchemy....that and I took the time to learn engineering to aid in my mixes. A new friend showed me Spiral and said I need to get that...he said I already had it if I had Komplete. We had an issue triggering the sequence so I found this tute...and it all made sense to open an audio track because it’s not MIDI. So I did it earlier today with the same synth you used. I am AMPED to do more based on what you and he showed me!

Great post. I finally see how to record sound generator output from Reaktor. Always a big mystery to me till now. My routing is not working like yours (After setting up the buses just like you did, I still DO hear the output from newscool even when the Audio channel is not yet Record Enabled). But, it does record the audio fine. I will learn more about buses next.

Awesome, I totally get it! No worries. If you take any requests, I would love to see some content on creative ways to combine different instruments/ensembles and FX (all from Reaktor). So far I'm absolutely loving using Reaktor FX as an insert on my serum patches, but it would be cool to be able to create entire channel strips from only within Reaktor! Anyways, thanks for the great content! It will surely help my music. - Dev Miles Away

Thank you! Very, very helpful video! I have always had trouble with Reaktor. Usually I can make sounds but not record. Now I know why. The sound generators are audio, not MIDI. I've just set up a Logic Template as you have in this video. Tomorrow I will try it out. I'd also like some more Reaktor tutorials.

thank you so much for video lesson but I can't find Reaktor factory selection R2. Could you help to me?
@blueroadhome
@blueroadhome 3 жыл бұрын
Hi slykimc, I need to update this video. They moved it. Go to your Player tab and select Reaktor Factory Library. Then select Groove Boxes and Newscool will be one of the selections under Groove Boxes. Let me know if that helps you and if you can find it. I think they took out the R2 library and just moved all that stuff into the Reactor Factory Selection.

Btw in Reaper you can just set the "Input" to "record output", so you just have to press record and get it as an audio track immediatley

@blueroadhome
@blueroadhome 3 жыл бұрын
I need to update this video. There is no longer an R2 folder. They moved everything into the Reaktor Sound Library. If you look in the Reaktor Sound Library and select Groove Boxes, you can then scroll down and find the Newscool instrument I used. Hopefully this clears it up. Sorry for my late reply.

For some reason when I use a bus (i.e.. bus 10) as the input for the audio track and then set that bus as the output for the news cool track I receive no audio signal on the audio track. Even after I hit record enable. Any thoughts/ideas why that might be?

Hey there. So when I open reaktor in Logic, I don't see anything in my player tab. I have Kontakt 5 - Full version (not Komplete). Is this why I am not seeing anything under the player tab? Thanks in advance.
@blueroadhome
@blueroadhome 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Alejandro, sorry you are having issues. Reaktor definitely comes with factory presets for you to use. Try opening Reaktor in standalone mode...without Logic. Just open the Reaktor application. In the upper left, click on Reaktor > Preferences > Directories. Then under the directories in Library, set your Factory path to the installed Reaktor library. Should be on you main Macintosh HD drive. Try that. Let me know if it works.
@blueroadhome
@blueroadhome 6 жыл бұрын
I should have asked. Are you on Reaktor 5 or 6? Is it the free version or did you buy it?
@alejandrocastro5184
@alejandrocastro5184 6 жыл бұрын
Hey there. Sorry for the late response. Just got around to trying this. I checked and the preferences> Directories defaulted the factory library path to the correct location on my Mac HD drive...but no luck accessing/seeing what I should be seeing. Also, to answer your question, I just purchased the full version of Kontakt 5 after having just the player. I am starting to regret it now because now I have a bunch of third party libraries that I cannot get into Kontakt now.., along with the this Reaktor issue. Pure frustration.
@blueroadhome
@blueroadhome 6 жыл бұрын
Make sure you are clicking on the camera icon under the player tab in Reaktor 6. I just did an 2nd introductory tutorial for Reaktor and It may help you. Here is the link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4C3loCbm86Lmas. Also what third party libraries are you having issues with getting into Kontakt? Not all third party libraries use Kontakt. Some have their own samplers. And some don't always load in the main section of Kontakt. Some libraries you have to browse to a particular folder where your samples are and load them that way in Kontakt.
