Do some simple evaluations where you take people who have never used your site or software and see if they can do basic tasks, like really basic tasks. As basic as how do I download the software, its a good test of how well you can relate to peoples ability to understand what your doing if they don't already understand it.

If a person needs a tutorial on how to download the software, they shouldn't be attempting to model solar in the first place.

Yes. SAM can be used for any size of system. See sam.nrel.gov for more information.

NREL offers periodic webinars and round tables that you can register for on sam.nrel.gov/events, but does not offer SAM training. The Midwest Renewable Energy Association offers online courses on SAM, for example www.midwestrenew.org/course/pv-430-intro-to-system-advisor-model-sam/.

SAM does not explicitly model systems with multiple power generation systems, but there are some approaches you can use. See this post on the SAM forum for more: sam.nrel.gov/forum/forum-general/3292

@@SAMDemoVideos I'm not looking for a simple one, I'm looking for a good one that works properly. This one is obviously designed by a computer programmer not someone who work actually use the software.

@@SAMDemoVideos PVWatts model was pretty intuitive. I had a question about the Azimuth angle though. Is the azimuth angle showing what direction the actual panel is facing in relation to the sun or is it more telling of the location of where the array is located?

@@paulromano5137 The azimuth angle input to SAM is the orientation of the photovoltaic array in degrees. For the PV models, for an array with a tilt angle greater than zero, azimuth = 180 is facing due south, and azimuth = 0 is facing due north.
