I always wanted to create a farming robot :) That would take care of strawberries , for example. This kind of robot could watch them grow, clean, cure (if needed) and then finally pick up strawberries. I am watching your films to gather knowledge, I don't know if I'll be able to utilize it but I like your approach very much.
@murtazasworkshop4 жыл бұрын
That is a great idea. This robot might not be powerful enough to move freely on a farm as you would need suspension and more powerful motors. But the principles learned here could be applied to a bigger robot. You might want to look at sabertooth motor driver and 24V dc scooter motors.

Vex makes some great Mecanum wheels for the price. I paid $60 for a set of four. There a couple videos on my channel showing the Vex wheels in action. I'm pretty sure the Vex wheels are better than the ones which came with your chassis. I'm only a few minutes into your video, I'm looking forward to watching more.

Can you share the chasis store link? I will be very happy
hi, currently i'm doing same project but with faster car (24 km/h). I can suggest that using arduino - jetson nano communication to drive motors creates a lot of lag. In your case may not be a problem but i recommend that using i2c driver or faster communicaion between them instead of serial. Also, im beginner on image processing and control algorithms (or CNN, probably you will use a neural network which is awesome), soo I look forward to the things you will do and learn from you
@zheyingchin41944 жыл бұрын
Maybe you can use an Arduino Mega instead of Uno. Arduino Mega has a much faster microcontroller, AtMega2560, instead of the AtMega328 on the Uno
@IMSezer4 жыл бұрын
@@zheyingchin4194 using mega already, as i know both of them 16mhz so no difference but not sure. Thanks for answer!
@zheyingchin41944 жыл бұрын
Muhammed Sezer there’s one more choice. Arduino Due. It uses arm chip so definitely faster. But it runs on 3.3v so there might be some modifications you need to do to the circuit.

@@zheyingchin4194 i will use pca9685 as driver since im using brushless motor and servos, but for other project i will try arduino due for serial port communication with higher serial speeds

It will be nice to generate and save a real time map to load after train (if combined with yolo maybe not only map but also recognized items - like forniture- could be placed importing some low poly 3d models, getting result in mobile or pc - I don't know if jetson nano by itself can support this-) Maybe also charging base and positioning to send bot wherever you want?

@ecp57584 жыл бұрын
Yep, is a little expensive... I am still saving money :P jejeje... You can check aliexpress,Amazon or developer.nvidia.com...
@averno61744 жыл бұрын
Sure, this project is not cheap; 300 for the wheel kit, about 80-90 for lidar (I guess it is RPLidar A1), and depending on which kit you buy, about 120-180 for jetson nano, plus H-Bridges (cheap product for only 5 more or less), arduino whith shield and so on...and camera if your jetson nano kit choice did not include one, ah, and batteries/power bank (you can find UPS for jetson nano for about 35-50) Whole project from scratch will cost about 650-800-1000 (of course if you have components from other projects it will be cheaper, but hey, this is an expensive hobby....😅 Anyway, you can allways follow the tuto series and get ideas, learn and adapt things to your own projects; enjoy learning! 👍
