Sir after merging of the energy levels of 2s and 2p states, when we reduce the distance further why does it why does energy level split?
@Gate_videos2 жыл бұрын
Because, two electron can not exist in same energy state.

@@Gate_videos Bro don't repeat what's written in the book ,also elaborate it we still have no. of states greater then no. of electrons(i.e. 8N states and 4N electrons) how can two electrons are in the same state in this case

29:41 sir why did you split the state equally why is it so and why it shouldn't be like 5,3 it will be very helpful if you could explain this or anyone else could.And really thankyou sir for this amazing lecture and literally after this I could really fundamental understand why one band is completely filled and one empty ❤️❤️❤️

How distance between two Atoms is equal to lattice constant. Is it not dependent on the type of crystal structure?
@vathsalmehta34884 жыл бұрын
This can be explained using the kronig-penny model. Band splitting becomes most dominant at one specific distance and this distance is evidently same as distance between two atoms is a 3D latttice

14nm not defines any feature. It is just the marketing technology name given by semiconductor industry. 14nm process node technology name. Now it is 3nm/5nm technology and it is not representing any parameter features of transistor , its just semiconductor industry marketing technology name. And these technology node (like 3nm,5nm,7nm,14nm.....) refers to the advancements in the chip manufacturing technology.
