Introduction to SHARP (SHocks: structure, AcceleRation, dissiPation) project

The SHARP (SHocks: structure, AcceleRation, dissiPation) project is consolidating the efforts of leading scientists from Europe and the USA to study collisionless shocks in the heliosphere and in distant astrophysical objects. The project will significantly improve our understanding of the most powerful accelerators in the Universe.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101004131.
