WebSecurityConfigurerAdapter is deprecated in 2022. What to use instead ?

If this is new, you should use SecurityFilterChain. It use the same HttpSecurity which means you have everything available

@@javadevjournal solved the problem using @RestController instead of @Controller. Also is there supposed to be register page at this stage of the tutorial?

@@3breze757 Yes..there will be one in the code base. Also you need @RestController in case you are using rest API but this tutorial is based on the Thymeleaf based UI
