Hi, if my outlet is a dam, do I first place the outlet and delineate the watershed and then add the reservoir where the outlet is located? also do I add the reservoir as a lake?

I am having an issue when trying to Delineate Watershed --> Create Streams (9:30) I am on MacOS and get the following error: *** Problem with TauDEM /Users/user/SWATPlus/TauDEM5Bin/pitremove -z /Users/user/Desktop/Project/Robit/Watershed/Rasters/DEM/srtm_30m_burned.tif -fel /Users/user/Desktop/Project/Robit/Watershed/Rasters/DEM/srtm_30mfel.tif: please examine output above. *** Would anyone know how to fix it on Mac (and not Windows)?

Very well explained sir! ... I have doubt that how do i get hdr.adf file of DEM just like you used... If i try to open my DEM tiff file it says "file might not be projected" but i got the correct projection for my area... It Also says the "units are not defined" .. pls help me to resolve this issue.

You have to project your DEM using "Project Raster" in the desired format as needed

Hello! Thank you for the video very helpfull. Now I have some questions. I am doing another project with another data, and when I try to create the HRU and it asks me to provide a soil map and landuse map: 1)Do these maps need to be in raster format? 2)How can I obtain the lookup table excels from the information that is given in the landuse or soil folders? Because I tried to load the maps in vectorial format but an error occurs. so i tried dowloading the data in raster format but then I have the problem that I do not have the lookup table. I saw that the folder I dowloades and the exmple folder are the same, I mean that they have the same files inside, so I wondered that maybe I could achive the lookup tables from these files?

The geospatial inputs need to be rasters, i.e., land use and soil. Corresponding lookup tables need to be created in the same template as the example dataset.

Hi, is it possible to create the watershed without creating an outlet. Because, when i am creating an watershed with an outlet it creates a very small watershed. I know it depends on the topography but what if I want to use the whole dem to create the watershed?

when i create HRUs, and I did all the same process ,but why the Full HRUs count is 438 ,the others were same as the video ？

@@shradhasuman6249 It is probably due to a misassignment of Soil Codes. Ensure that the SEQN numbers and soil code are consistently and correctly defined in the lookup table, soil raster and the usersoil table.

Is anyone getting this error? @@王晨-i1c There are global LULC and soil datasets.many are listed on the SWAT website. DEMs as well. There are detailed tutorials on YT to download them too.
