4:30 Where you mention that people call themselves Christian, but they weren't really acting like it. That right there. That's it. A lot of people who call themselves Christian do not act like it. If you're preaching something that you're not walking in, then why are you preaching it? Most likely to deceive others, or for control. This is how the religion was used in our history. As a method of control over others, and to justify atrocities. I used to be Christian. I walked away ages ago to discover the truth on my own. This seems to be the next step in my learning, where the curiosity is leading me. "Remember me before the silver cord is severed" is what started my personal spiritual journey. That line stood out for me, and still stands out. Anyways, I'm prepared to be mocked and ridiculed. There's certain things that I want to bring awareness to. I have a lot of people silently watching me right now. Right now is my opportunity to bring awareness to issues I'm passionate about. Right now I'm passionate about what is happening to the women and children in my community. Our little girls.

Please! Do a tarot archetype overview video! Even if it takes 5 hours, I would be very happy to watch it. It's the first time I understand the tower cart this well. Also if you related with the kabbala would be great. This helps to understand the complexity of these systems of representation. Thanks a lot for this video!

Believing in archetypal synchronicity is believing in tarot divination. No need to dismiss divination with fortune telling! I've been reading for myself and for others for well over 15 years, and the only explanation for my rate of success is synchronicity. I study astrology and qabala for archetypal understanding as you do, without any compulsion to understand star charts or play Hebrew Scrabble. I, in fact, greatly appreciate you for your content, and I thank you for this helpful video. But, please, consider tarot divination a separate practice from fortune telling in the future. For whatever reason, certainly not my skill or knowledge, my readings always make sense to those for whom I read-- and, no, I have never asked for money. If you truly have never tried tarot for yourself, you would be astonished to find that the odds of pulling cards are not even in practice, not at all. That mathematical observance alone kept me curious my first year or two! Thank you for reading this, at any rate, and please consider creating more videos like this one in the future!

In 1981 my mom and friend went to a seer or clairvoyant if you will, for a giggle. Was my mom in for a shock. The seer Ishbel gave mom a reading, as she did she became confused by my mom's two mother's and enormous childhood suffering that Ishbel found difficult to psychically absorb. My mom was born into and survived Auswitz concentration camp and was fostered to a foster mom but then was returned to her biological mother later in a court case. The people that know remain very quiet in this world.

Modern mainstream and commercial tarot decks are beautiful. Not all are created using traditional symbology, but most often do have at least a few elements. Each has its own perspective but communicates the same idea. Some people resonate with different artwork because we've had different human experiences. I don't believe in fortune telling, and I read tarot cards. It helps me with lateral thinking, creativity, and expansive thinking. Thanks for sharing very interesting 👍

A very nice, artistic and unique deck that I have comes from an artist and his wife, J Edward Neill and Heather Neill. J Edward Neill does very beautiful paintings and posts them on instagram (that's how I found them), and Heather is the one who is interested in Tarot and mysticism. So together, they create these wondeful decks and the guidebooks can also be found online (because their cards are slightly different from a traditional deck, but they do translate over very well). I personally got the Shadow Journey Deck, and I love it very much. Just thought id recommend them!

Thanks for this. I see the cards mostly as a way to dredge things up, or jar them loose, from the unconscious, and that’s how I use the cards. The practice of throwing and examining a card spread has an uncanny knack for making things explicit that seemed hidden from us.

Andrew, you are a kindred spirit. It's funny that we have so much in common, have travelled complimentary paths and after all these years - have never talked about this. While I was taking my NLP training way back in 2000, I was thinking about the correspondences between NLP, symbolism, Tarot and Magick and how to incorporate NLP teachings in with the tree. I really like the symbolism associated with the Qabalah and how path work is such a great psychological tool. Anyway, would love to discuss this further with you. Huzzah!

Any teacher that starts off with the proclamation that all the other teachers out there are nutters... Is a teacher of mine! Halfway through video and thoroughly enjoying it. Especially appreciate the discussion about Christmas. I found it funny that you said "nobody cares about all that" - actually there is a significant subgroup of Christians that won't celebrate Christmas because it is "pagan." (as in, it is "all pagan" or has "pagan roots") I like the way you illustrate that Christmas as we know it today is the archetypical aftermath of a collision of different influences rather than being specifically rooted in one or the other. In the World of Tai Chi and Kung-fu, the idea of a traceable lineage and fidelity to that lineage is about a core consistency and consequently an authenticity of the teachings involved-so is 'NLP', the more it moves away, through time from the early days of Bandler and Grinder, maybe even those they built their models around, like Bateson, Satir and Erickson just morphing into something else by lacking fidelity to it's own lineage?

I like the „down to earth“ approach very much, because there are many „teachers“ offering courses in „shiny“ words and when you meet them in person you many times feel as if they live in a parallel world - but not that kind of parallel world they are advertising 😄 Anyway, would be interesting to get a recommendation (book or course) for the practical aspect of WORKING with the tree of life, its paths and sephiroth. For every branch you climb, will lead you to the next branch , taking the formation of one’s personal tree of growth.. Hence why , just as the details came in many books of knowledge, the Kabbalah, is a whole, teaching the new trees a simplistic form on one’s own journey of growth.. Kabbalah is an ancient teaching of true choice of growth.. Then we have the capital lettering as a whole, the smaller lettering as a whole, as all size writings as a collective..

Thanks for this excellent overview of Qabalah, Tarot, and Archetypes. I for one would like to see more on the paths and other forms of attribution between the two developing frameworks of Tarot and Qabalah. Which brings me to my question. I personally assign the Hebrew letters to the Tarot Major Arcana in a different way, where Aleph is matched to the Magician and the sequence goes from there. I also relate the Hebrew letters to the Paths using a Hebrew Kabalistic pattern for the Tree of Life involving “Mother” letters, types of letters of the Hebrew alphabet. This means that likely my Tarot Major Arcana paths lie between different Sephirot than the two paths that you briefly covered. How do you account for this? Am I simply mistaken? I just found your channel somehow so there’s lots for me to digest. :)
@tonysatorotas75782 жыл бұрын
In my opinion the Paths or Archetypes may be said to partake of the qualities of the Sephirot they lie between. For example, the 19th path (Teth) joining Geburah and Chesed has the Strength card as a correspondence. This card does not signify the severe active Martian energy of Geburah, nor does she exert benevolent merciful Jupiterian passive energy in excess. The Lion is kept in check through qualities which partake of both these Sephiroth. These horizontal paths which conjoin masculine and feminine Sephira are termed 'Reciprocal Paths'. Similarly you can view the vertical paths as also partaking of the qualities of the Spheres above and below them with the upper Sphere (Chokmah for eg.) being the more dominant force exerting its influence on the lower Sphere (Chesed). Chesed then has a similar effect as we drop down once more to Netzach and the paths balance these energies as we descend the tree, becoming less and less 'Spiritualized' the closer we get to Malkuth. With all this said, you can assign the Hebrew letters however you may wish but the path will still partake of and balance the energies of the Sephirot they join. For the sake of space I have tried to keep this description simple and it is just my own humble opinion but I hope it helps and I welcome any feedback/criticism/discussion which may aid me in developing my own understanding of this unbelievably fascinating topic.

I am curious if you have or could post a recommended reading list on the subject? I am just getting back into it and it seems there is a plethora of new stuff on the subject and I am at a loss for resources that would lead me to an interpretation close to yours. Thanks! Great video, keep ‘em coming!
