Sir, why don’t you use some better marker pens which can leave legible impression on the white board?

Sorry, on that day I could not find a better one. Rightly pointed out.😊

@@engineeringmaterials-tribo5142 Sir, I'm in my final semester of UG Mech. Engg. Have discovered your teaching on tribology, of late; and found your lectures to be lucid and fluent which helped me to understand some of the Machine Elements lab experiments pertaining to the subject. Thanks!

• Tribology - The branch of science to study the details of interfaced surface interactions & their consequences like rubbing, friction, wear & lubrication. • Detailed surface properties are investigated like micro to nano level roughness, grip, contact holding properties & all. • There are two types of surface contacts - (i) Stationary contact (No relative motion at contact interfaces). Here, gripping capacity is studied to hold & maintain the contacts. (ii) Dynamic contact (Relative motion at contact interfaces). Gripping as well as motion transmission is investigated. • Consequence of friction like wear, rubbing & resulted surface quality is studied. Supporting factors like temperature, contact stresses, contact deformations, noise, etc are investigated in detail. • To avoid the above undesired consequences, various physical mechanisms of lubrication are studied. Which to use under what circumstances, which to use with efficient energy consumption & which not are completely studied. • This topic is very hot most important almost in every industry from automotive to power & from power to manufacturing. This topic also has very unique importance in research & development (R&D).

You can see a chapter on wear in my book: drive.google.com/file/d/11LTR8GDOGwYCE7fWBEV-vck6uKlRbmBd/view?usp=sharing I do not have any further notes that I can share at the moment. Thanks for your interest. 👍
