Assalamu alaikum sir.. I am one of your student in this platform .. Recently I completed Power system Stability(going on) + Load flow + DC machines Because of your lectures .. But Many of GATE aspirants too much struggles in Synchronous Machine You know very well.. You started Synchronous machines topic but not completed like DC machines😢 You are my last hope ( after Allah) .. Please I already Wasted 1 year this is my last year kindly complete Synchronous machines tooooo🙂.. My dear friends if you need Synchronous machines then please post your comments here👍 Then only sir try to upload videos on Synchronous machines

Dr. Alam, by looking at the graph it occurred to me that (consuming less reactive power, or supplying more reactive power) actually help us increase the critical real power point. Hence, reactive power help in active power delivery. But is there some physical intuition why this is the case? it would be very interesting topic to cover in future lectures.
