Yes, that's a fair question, but we also have to consider history. For nearly 1700 years, from the year 1 CE, India was the world's largest economy, constituting 35 to 40% of the world's GDP. In Indian philosophical thought, principles are very important, and we never attacked any country. Our philosophy taught us inclusion and pluralism, but the world is not a perfect place. Some people took advantage of India's behaviour, and you know the history from the Mughal invasion to British rule. After so long invasion we dealt with an Identity crisis, wrong history, lack of confidence and multiple other factors that led to where we are now. Somewhere its our fault only
