This is a totally outdated course. Plus, there are lot of technical mistakes from the Professor. I cannot recommend it to my students. NPTEL Swayam is still rerunning this course. I request NPTEL Swayam to provide a technically correct and updated lecture series on this topic

@@kd6534-t1j This course was prepared many years back. It has not been updated since. This is also a theory course, so you will not get any practical exposure. The best way to learn Industrial Automation is to get hands on training. You may look at practical training courses offered by global automation companies like Scheider or Yokogawa. They have training centres in Bangalore.
