Sir as the carbonyl carbon get partial positive charge, according to inductive effect the adjacent chain diminishes the positive charge on carbonyl carbon as a result the adjacent carbon also gets positive charge. But how this adjacent carbon get negative charge. Plz explain sir

This is not according to inductive effect as we are doing retero so this is for the purpose of cleaving .....means if cleavage occur between carbonyl carbon and alpha carbon than carbonyl carbon will have positive charge in synthon while adjacent carbon will have negative charge in synthon
