I have no strict rule on arms locked or bent. I find some people do one or other naturally. I also have not seen a significant performance gain from either. I like my arms bent because it feels right, I get the position out quickly. but I train that a lot so someone adopting a bent arm stance needs to put in the sweat to hone that arm orientation.

hey there! ok good Q. I am not big on particular foot placement. In fact strict foot placement can be a scare if we waist time to hit a certain orientation. Now I have my left foot back because..... my Achilles broke in left foot :) so I have more flexibility in that foot and it goes back better.

@wgunz if your hands are shaking, it is not more stable FOR YOU. Everyone has a preferred stance and hold. Work with what you are comfortable with, and eventually try working more toward a "locked arms" stance.

Will there eventually be a model with a slide that goes back and locks? just to simulate loading a firearm? I have a sirt and am in love with it, just wish there was a slide since there's a removable magazine

Mike what do you feel about locking arms out? I try it and it feels uncomfortable and shakes my hands but on the flipside I am told it is supposed to be more stable.

I don't understand the purpose of the red laser. Does it work in conjunction with the green laser in some way?

The red laser is for when you "take the slack out of the trigger". Like squeezing the trigger just a little to where its about to break. Thats the red laser. Then when you break the shot and pull the trigger completely, thats when you will see the green laser.

Any plans on a SIRT pistol that simulates recoil also?

No because its not possible to simulate recoil without an accelerating mass away from the pistol. Force = Mass x Acceleration so true recoil (not just a reciprocating slide) requires a mass to be accelerating from the gun. The best tool to train recoil management is your live fire gun. Mike Hughes

DO NOT BUY THE SIRT GUN!!! I am a law enforcement firearms instructor and I used it for less than a week before it stopped working. I bought it new from LASR and they won’t stand behind their products. They want to charge me an arm and a leg to fix it and say it will take weeks.

For any person who is serious about improving their shooting skills. The SIRT gun is your go to for laser and dry fire practice As a law enforcement officer, I always look forward to my fire qualifications. I know I will score well because of my SIRT training and practice. Bottom line.....it prepares me and gives me the acurracy, holster speed and focus I rely on.
