Hi with the 37 absent on the lower the upper will move back to where it was . Unless an implant or c/c denture is fitted then the problem will be solved

Tq for your nice video.. How do you activate the spring?

Perdana KP I pre-activated the spring by bending it straight down with my fingers, then adjusted it with bird beak pliers.

Good morning Dr. is this technique helpful in intruding molar teeth in ske. ant. open bite ?..because the patient is afraid of any surgical interference even using mini screw.. and he occludes only on post. teeth.. thank you so much..

That’s a great question for a qualified clinician. I am a technician, and assist doctors with choosing devises to accomplish their treatment plans, but I am not trained in determining the treatment plan. I suggest you ask an orthodontist. Thanks for viewing.

The amount of intrusion you will require to treat such a case; the scope of such extensive movement will likely not be achievable by a removable appliance, not to mention the number of visits you will need to get there by the same. You will need intrusion of several posterior teeth, not just an individual molar alone. If surgery is not an option, mini-implants and bone screws might be the way to go. Check out Dr Chris Chang's videos, they might help.
