I was super longing over this deck a while back, when the mass market version was on pre-order. Feeling glad I've held off. I'd still consider picking it up sometime if I see it for a good price but I think I might struggle with the sameness of a lot of the imagery, the lack of a full illustrative scene in a lot of the cards.

I'm not sure if anyone has this problem, but my cards aren't all the same size. When I lay the bottom edge on a flat surface, I can clearly see some cards about 1mm shorter than others. It is quite annoying especially when shuffling, the short card easily get stuck behind the longer cards, making me feel like I haven't gotten a good shuffle yet. The place where this deck came from doesn't allowed return. It is unfortunate. The unevenness is such a distraction.

13:24 What happened to the 6, 7, 8, 9 of swords? They have lines through them at the top, looks like it's cut?? 14:55 I noticed the same thing at the bottom of the ace of pentacles. Hm.

I ended up sending it back in exchange for another. The new deck seems way better in print and no missing cards. The top icons are more visible. IMHO, it might be worth it to get the independent version, but 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, but it was a quick exchange and all the cards were there. I thought I was just missing it, or it stuck to another card, etc. I have not had that happen before but its all good now.

This is my first deck (and very beginner) still haven’t tried it out but it’s a funny story how I’ve obtained it so I knew I wanted a deck but I am broke so didn’t look into any decks really. So I was in Tj maxx (I believe) and found a moon deck and was like ah I need a tarot deck and if I find one I’ll buy it. And maybe 30 seconds later I saw it and kinda fell in love with it but I still kinda searched for other decks w/out really moving things around and couldn’t find any so I took her home and once I opened it she was like u need me lol and I can’t wait to start with it. The thing while looking at the cards was the goddesses with the blindfolds on some of them kinda jumps out at me as well as the lights how u mentioned :)!!!

Beautiful artwork! Can I be picky and say I wish they hadn't changed so many titles of the Majors? Seems like an odd choice for a deck that is otherwise an RWS clone (not saying that in a bad way). Otherwise I love how it looks! But I think those title changes would be confusing enough for me to pass on this.

I have the non-mass market edition of this deck, and the only difference I noticed between it and the version in your video was that the non-mass market version is gold on the deck edges and the symbol on the court Cup cards was easier to see. It’s such an amazing deck, regardless of which version. 🤩 Sorry to see that a card was missing, though! Maybe it’s worth reaching out to the artist?

It’s hard for me to use because I love it so much I don’t want anything to happen to it cuz of my fucked up shuffling...mass market seems easier to shuffle?? Damn I wish u had both! I do like that the gilding on my edition doesn’t cut me. I love the feel & aesthetics of this deck so much! I waited over a year before I bought it! I want the Textured Tarot but it’s expensive AF!!! This deck kinda scratches that itch also for some reason is what I thought looking at it just now.
