I absolutely love the affect of the white paint swooshes you did before you added the stenciling on top. And using the white paint underneath the colors really made them show up so much better. I like the tip of using white under paint to make it more opaque. The way you did blending on your white layer with a couple of the flowers was a nice touch. Your use of yellow flower on blue-purple background was a wonderful contrast....only possible because of the use of white layer. Blending colors as you have, added greatly to the overall appearance, and is something I need to think about more often in my work (to blend and slightly change the colors myself instead of just using straight color). I like the stencils you have made. Have you made a video showing how to make stencils? Thank you for sharing. I will be playing with how you made your background and whimsical effect with the white. I will also play with saturation of color by painting my focal point with white first to see how it changes overall effect for me. Your demonstration has given me a lot to play with and experience myself.
