You would have to understand inuyashas story. Because he wasnt able to close that chapter with kikyo, he heart remained busy for her. As she passed away and inuyasha found closure, he was able to receive the love of kagome. I'm speaking of expirience. Been holding onto this one person the past 20 years, never wondering why the relationships didnt work. Until i found closure, i am ready to receive love again. Its always important to see the coin from both sides to get an understanding
